Yamaha Motor UK has decided to extend its current zero per cent finance offer until May 4th 2008, it was revealed today.

Sixteen motorbikes, including top performers such as the YZF-R1 and the new 2008 YZF-R6 will still benefit from the offer of zero per cent finance, APR typical over 2.5 years, with £199 down (subject to status).

The full line-up of machines available on the scheme is:

  • YZF-R1

  • YZF-R6

  • FZ1/FZ1 Fazer (including ABS versions)

  • FZ6 S2

  • FZ6 Fazer S2 (including ABS version)

  • FJR1300A and AS

  • XJR1300

  • TDM900 (including ABS version)

  • XT660X

"It was decided to extend this groundbreaking scheme on 16 Yamaha models for a further period because we didn’t want customers to lose out," commented Geoff Selvidge, Yamaha Motorcycles divisional manager.

"The poor weather in the last month means that some customers have put off their new bike purchase for a while and we don’t want to disadvantage these riders."
