The Skoda Superb GreenLine goes on sale on Monday

Skoda is gearing up to release the new Superb GreenLine next Monday (October 13th), a car that demonstrates the company's commitment to the environment.

The car will initially be priced at £16,710, offering customers more choice in the low CO2 emissions market.

The new Superb emits only 136 g/km of CO2 and achieves a fuel consumption rate of 55.4 mpg.

The 1.9 TDI PD engine, fitted with a diesel particulate filter, returns 105 bhp and comes with a five speed manual gearbox.
Skoda engineers have achieved this remarkable feat by developing a number of solutions.

These include reducing the weight of the car, making the gearing longer and re-mapping the engine for greater efficiency.

This, together with improved aerodynamics and low resistance tyres, adds up to a more environmentally conscious vehicle.

The Superb GreenLine is a separate trim level and sits between the entry level S and the mid-range SE.

Equipment above the S model includes sunset glass, cruise control, four spoke leather steering wheel, lowered suspension, small rear boot spoiler and tyre repair kit.
