Twingo Renaultsport unleashed
Renault has announced a new Twingo Renaultsport to complement the existing sports versions of larger siblings, the Megan and Clio.
The new, affordable, high-performance car will be available to UK buyers in the autumn.
It is a genuine hot-hatch, with looks to match and was designed to deliver both enjoyable road-holding and sports performance.
The vehicle has an efficient, balanced chassis, combined with a punchy but flexible 133hp engine to form a package designed to appeal to all those who seek sporting sensations and driving pleasure during everyday motoring.
Based loosely on the model shown at the Paris motor show in 2006, the Renaultsport version takes Twingo's existing lines and underpins them with a more aggressive stance.
The newcomer's sporty style is further emphasised by its wider front and rear wings, profiled sills and rear spoiler.
Fans will get their first chance to see the new and improved Twingo at the Geneva motor show, taking place in the Swiss city from March 6th.
