Hamilton celebrates Silverstone win at Goodwood

Lewis Hamilton will be appearing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and one lucky attendee will get the chance to be driven by him in a roadster
Formula 1 star, Lewis Hamilton, is to celebrate his impressive victory at Silverstone last weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 13th.
One lucky Festival visitor will have the chance to passenger with him as he drives up the Goodwood hill in a Mercedes-McLaren SLR Roadster.
This fortunate passenger will be anyone 18 or over that has purchased, or is about to buy, a Sunday ticket to the Festival of Speed.
A ticket stub will be pulled out at random by Lord March, and whoever has the corresponding ticket number will be notified and get top travel up the hill with Lewis Hamilton as his or her chauffeur.
Festival of Speed founder Lord March says, "We are all looking forward to a really fabulous weekend with Lewis here.
"His Silverstone race was the greatest drive of his career so far, and I am absolutely delighted that he is coming to Goodwood to celebrate this famous victory and join-in the party atmosphere with his fans, especially the lucky winner of the drive up the hill with him."
The organisers have been able to release a few more entry tickets, available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets are available immediately, but are liable to be snapped up rapidly.
Six Formula 1 teams have been confirmed as appearing at Goodwood at the time of writing:
Scuderia Ferrari – the current constructors World Champions will be here from Italy to demonstrate their championship-winning machine
Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes – the MP4/22 will be in action all weekend, with current title contender Lewis Hamilton at the controls on Sunday. Team mate Pedro de la Rosa will be at the wheel on Friday and Saturday.
BMW-Sauber – the latest potential challengers to the F1 throne will be present with their F1.06 over the Festival weekend.
Honda – British hero Jenson Button will be on hand to put the RA107 through its paces.
Red Bull – the beautiful RB1 will smoke its tyres all weekend
Toyota – the TF107 will be in action, having its neck rung by test driver Kamai Kobayashi.
