Citroen announces C5 release date
Citroen has announced its highly anticipated new C5 saloon will be available in showrooms from April 2nd.
The new model is a complete redesign on the classic's form, and features "a mixture of French flair and Teutonic levels of quality", according to a statement from the company.
When the new C5 and C5 Tourer hit the forecourts they will feature a long list of standard features, a choice of six engines and, for the first time in the segment, the option of two suspension systems.
According to Citroen, their new vehicle will offer dynamic performance with space and practicality, in a sophisticated estate car designed to meet the needs of drivers looking for a vehicle with style and personality.
"Our customers want and deserve the highest standards in comfort, reliability, performance and style and with the new Citroen C5 we have dedicated ourselves to deliver those qualities at unprecedented levels," said Xavier Duchemin, managing director of Citroen UK.
