Citroen is hoping its new free road tax plans go down well with customers
Citroen is aiming to make new car ownership more affordable by offering a year's free road tax on all new car sales.
The offer will extend across the entire Citroen range, which includes the economical C1, C2 and C3 superminis, the Grand C4 Picasso MPV and the recently launched executive C5 Saloon.
Following on from Citroen's recent money-saving offer which extended zero per cent finance to over half of its models, the company is looking to drive down the cost of buying a car, which will come at an especially good time for customers in the wake of the credit crunch and rising fuel prices.
This offer is on all new Citroen cars until the end of May.
Citroen believes it offers one of the most fuel-efficient and lowest CO2 emitting product ranges in the UK today.
New car buyers looking for an economic and environmentally friendly choice may well find Citroen's range of low tax, low insurance and fuel efficient vehicles both a frugal and stylish option.
Indeed, with the C1 achieved 68.9mpg on the combined cycle, giving it one of the lowest fuel costs of any vehicle available today.
