New Chevrolet Lacetti announced
A new, automatic version of the Chevrolet Lacetti has joined the existing range.
The 1.8SX model has automatic transmission as standard and will cost £12,795 on-the-road.
All round electric windows, traction control, front and side airbags, smart 15-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, and remote central locking with engine immobiliser will all be included on the new model.
Additionally the 1.8SX will include a leather-covered steering wheel and gear knob, a cooled glove compartment and radio-CD with MP3 capability.
With the four-speed automatic transmission as standard, the Lacetti Station Wagon 1.8SX accelerates from 0-62 mph in 12 seconds, with a top speed of 116mph.
The car is in the Euro four emissions class and is capable of producing 119 bhp at 5,800 rpm.
It also has a fuel consumption figure of 32.1 miles per gram of CO2.
Several other new Chevrolet models are expected in 2008, following a successful year for the company in 2007 - with sales up 27.6 per cent.
