Aveo sets sights on Geneva
The Chevrolet Aveo will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, which takes place in Switzerland during March.
The three-door version of the vehicle joins the five-door version – unveiled last year at last year's Frankfurt Show.
The American manufacturer expects the model to become its top-seller in Europe over the next 12 months – following the launch of the five-door in May, followed by the three-door the following month.
Power will come from a 1.2-litre engine with a healthy 84PS, with CO2 emissions of 132g/km.
It will also be built in Europe – with Chevrolet's new production facility in Warsaw, Poland, is about to begin full-scale production of the Aveo.
Versions of the Aveo are presently sold under five General Motors brand around the world – with the car going under the name of the Daewoo Kalos in South Korea.
Further details of the car's UK specification and pricing will be available nearer the time.
