Here's a sketch of the new Suzuki S-Cross family crossover. Looking good so far. See it Paris in the metal
Suzuki has released a couple of slightly mysterious photos as a taster for what we can expect from their stand at next month's Paris Motor Show.
Named the S-Cross, it is a concept car that will fit into the C-segment crossover part of the market and the covers will come off good and proper on September 27 in the French capital.
The design theme for this one is "Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics" and from the sketch, it does seem to have a touch of the, dare we say it, BMW X5 and X6 about it. Chris Bangle's spirit living on via Suzuki perhaps? Or are we just being cheeky?
In any case, Suzuki is promising "distinctive dynamic lines that start on the front bumper, sweep across the doors, and continue to the rear of the body". They're also promising "stability and solidity" – always good features in a crossover which will no doubt be driven by many a family if it becomes a production car.
Other cars on show at Suzuki's Paris stand include the latest incarnations of the Alto, Splash, Swift, Swift Sport, SX4, Jimny and Grand Vitara models.
