New Mazda6 to hit a 6 in Moscow

It's the mean-looking new Mazda6. (PS: This how the images look from Mazda...)
Before the glamour of the Paris Motor Show, there's the Moscow Motor Show to look forward to at the end of August. And Mazda will be taking the opportunity to launch the new Mazda6 sedan at the Moscow show. It is the second Mazda to take on the new KODO "Soul of Motion" design theme and it will be launched on August 29 at 11.30am, Moscow time.
It will be the first Mazda equipped with the Japanese automaker's new brake energy regeneration i-ELOOP system - the name may not be quite as catchy as KERS but it's still a great idea.
The new Mazda6 is also kitted out with Mazda's SKYACTIV technologies which are aimed at making it more environmentally friendly. Along with the Mazda6 being lighter than its predecessor, the model that will be on show in Moscow will be the Russian-spec sedan with a direct injection SKYACTIV-G 2.0-litre petrol engine and six-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic transmission which aims to be just as efficient as a manual box.
More information on UK pricing and specs expected after Moscow.
