Ken Block Gymkhana Five Ford Fiesta

Having trouble taking off, Wing Commander? Ken Block gets big air in San Fran for Gymkhana 5. Surely all Ford Fiestas need 600bhp?!

Ken Block’s Gymkhana videos are about as viral as the bubonic plague - but way more fun and with a lot less puss! - and there is surely no-one left on the planet that doesn't associate fryin’ and dyin’ tyres with Ken Block and his howling motors.

This time he’s in San Francisco – a city known for its huge rolling hills – and the wild-eye’d rally star makes good use of the city's natural ramps with some seriously big air over some crazy jumps. He even jumps and lands his Fiesta sideways!

The supercar featured in Gymkhana 5 is the Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle, or H.F.H.V, or Ford Fiesta to you and me. The H.F.H.V was designed by Block and the Monster World Rally Team to compete in three distinct disciplines: gymkhana, RallyCross and stage rally. The car features a 2-litre turbocharged motor making 600bhp and 665lb-ft of torque. It’ll hit 60mph in just 1.8 seconds. Only nukes are louder than this loony!

Also involved in Gymkhana 5 is motocross legend Travis Pastrana who adds his own, single-wheel-smoke to the turbocharged affray, popping wheelies while Ken doughnuts around him. Yes, it’s wild alright, and with lots of heli-cams and the famous rolling San Fran streets all to himself, you get to see a lot of this beautiful city. Through the tyre smoke, that is! Enjoy.
