The bold and brash Bentley EXP 9 F super-SUV is off to America to see if the Yanks like it. I think they will!
I have to admit that’s Bentley’s ‘fastest SUV in the world’ – the snappily titled EXP9 F – is starting to grow on me. Sure, the jet-engine-exhaust-style headlights will take further getting used to, but there’s no denying its Bentley style and massive road presence; as seen in these new official pics.
With high haunches, chunky lines and plenty of pretty chrome-work; it’s undeniably big, bold and Bentley, and the rear-end just screams expensive. Those turbine-style wheels somehow manage to meld the modern and the retro together in quite seamless style.
The new EXP 9 F is off to the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach, in California, in August next, where I’m pretty sure it’ll get a warm welcome from well-healed Yanks that love a bit of British bling.
Full specs and prices are yet to be announced, but if Bentley want it to be the fastest big SUV in town it’ll need some serious grunt; in the region of 700bhp. Gulp!
