Jenson Button says nice things about the new McLaren. Funny that!
We've all bought a McLaren MP4-12C since they went on sale 12 months ago, haven't we? Yes! Of course! So now it is time for a trade-in and what better way to upgrade the garage beast than with McLaren's newest high-performance sports car, the 12C Spider.
It's a twin-turbo V8 with 616bhp. Oh, yes please! And to add to the fun factor (and to ensure we don't pray for too much more rain...) it's an open-roofed model.
The 12C Spider has the same carbon fibre chassis as the stablemate but you'll be able to hear so much more when you take the roof off.
At this stage, that's really all McLaren is saying about the car (we must know the price so we can check in with the bank manager) but we'll tell you more in due course. We can, however, reveal that Jensen Button may have a few words to say about such thrilling motoring with McLaren harnessing the power of YouTube to tell us more in this here video:
