Toyota Camette

The new Toyota Camette concept. As a car or a jeep, it's about as cute as kitten slippers!

This one is straight out of the "oh cute!" files - a concept car that has been launched at the Tokyo Toy Show. It is called the Camette and while it is more likely to be seen hooning around backyards rather than on the highway, it aims to promote Toyota to the next generation of drivers and get those darn kids familiar with life behind the wheel.

The Camette has removable panels, comes in a range of colours and the seating is a 1+2 configuration which lets the kid sit in the front while a responsible adult sits behind and helps with steering and braking. The pedals and seats are adjustable so that little ones can have a go too.

While there are no plans to put this baby into mass production, the concept comes in two guides Camette Sora (blue car) and Camette Daichi (tan jeep) and, frankly, we think it's adorable!
