The XF won the Executive Car of the Year 2012 title, with JD Power
Jaguar is one happy cat after being announced as the number one manufacturer in the JD Power and Associates/What Car Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study for 2012. Jag came out on top in a survey of 18,000 people after an average of two years of car ownership. Last year, Jag came third in the same survey.
Yes, it seems that owners of Jags across the UK are pleased with their purchase. While this might seem like a no-brainer, it is important to remember that under Ford's ownership, the fine British brand didn't fare too well but has picked up in leaps and bounds in terms of design and reliability in recent years. Which must make the bigwigs at current owner Tata very happy indeed.
As well as winning the top gong, the XF moved up 15 spots from 2011 to get the Executive Car of the Year title.
It looks like customer satisfaction is being translated into sales with a 56% increase reported last month for the marque. After a few dodgy years, it looks like the cat is truly back.
