It's extra arty inside new Jaguar XK specials

The new Jaguar XK Artisan SE gets extra good stuff outside and in. But it's mainly all about the leather good times inside...
Sprinkle a little extra luxury - and some big audio dynamite by Bowers & Wilkins - throughout the interior of your new Jaguar XK with the Artisan SE special editions, in both coupe and convertible bodies.
For £77,350 (Coupe) and £82,500 (Convertible) - the “base” XKs come in at £65,000 and £71,000, respectively - the Artisan SE models sit near the top of the XK trim-trim, but below the snorty, supercharged XKR, of course. The Artisan SEs “make do” with the naturally aspirated 5-litre V8 motor; good for 385bhp. And having driven the range of XKs, I can confirm that the “natural” XK motor is one smooth cruiser. Sometimes, you just don’t need 500bhp!
The extra XK-cash goes on treating the eyes, ears and fingers to some top notch trimming, wood, metal and music - while one’s bum gets a seriously soft-sounding leather finish; called “scraffito" grain. The pics below show the sweet skin draped over “Performance” seats that look to me like the bucket-style beauts inside the sporting XKR. They’re 16 x 16-way electrically adjustable and heated, of course.
Onto that Bowers & Wilkins sound system which, with 525 watts of music power to call on, could indeed negate the need for a home stereo; as long as the XK is on the driveway with the windows down!
However, the XK Artisan SE opulence starts on initial approach with three special edition colours to define these bolstered big cats from the norm; Celestial Black, Polaris White and Rhodium Silver - while a fresh set of new 20-inch “Orona” polished alloy wheels seal the delectable design deal.
