The Kia Track'ster concept car looks good enough to eat!
It seems that at any given moment in time there's a motor show happening somewhere in the world at right now it's Chicago's turn. Kia has decided to go to the home of the Bulls, the Bears and Barack Obama to launch their newest concept car, the Track'ster. While there are no plans at this stage to put the Track'ster into production, it looks like it is heralding the design direction for future generations of Kia urban crossover cars.
The lines are more aggressive and it's not quite as boxy as the kia Souls you see on the roads today but it still has plenty of character. It'd be lovely to see a production version roll out of the factory with the giant wheels as seen on the concept car. At this stage, all we have is the designer's rendering of the Track'ster but as soon as we have more than this teaser, we'll share the pics.
Based on the popular and quirky Soul model, it is a sportier version with Kia envisaging this little bruiser to have a 247bhp petrol engine. It was created at Kia's California studio, where the original Soul was born. The designers there have also produced the Soul'ster convertible concept which is currently under assessment before it can go into production.
