The Alfa Romeo Giulietta shows off some cunning slippery stunts. Be careful how you say that!
If you're tired of seeing celebrities on ice - especially the ones who you can barely recognise or identify only as "that lass who was once in a lads' mag" or "wasn't he on Emmerdale or was it EastEnders?" - Alfa Romeo have launched a video that may reignite your enthusiasm for all things happening on frozen surfaces.
The glorious new Alfa Romeo Giulietta has joined forces with stunt driver Paul Swift and the UK's top ice hockey team, Coventry Blaze, to create an ice hockey driving video. The whole shebang was filmed on an iPhone 4S, so we look forward to a spate of copycats really soon. But Alfa has set the bar high with this one with the Giulietta taking on Team Blaze star David Phillips.
Check it out on Facebook - www.facebook.com/alfaromeouk - and you will see the car strike a hockey puck from just inside the end zone into the net. The car was put in All-weather DNS mode to make sure it didn't come a cropper on the ice and the resulting display of automotive agility is pretty impressive.
