The Lexus LF-LC concept car goes on show in Detroit next week. "The headlights appear to be crying the sharpened tears of an evil genius..."
With Detroit's annual automotive extravaganza now only five days away, Lexus have decided to get in early and release a few more cheeky pictures of the LF-LC concept car before it's for-real unveiling next week.
It's a 2+2 sports coupe and the latest images show that the design is getting more and more imaginative at Lexus, largely because of the creative types at Lexus's Calty design studio in Newport Beach California. The futuristic design sends a clear message that Lexuses across the whole range are about to look a whole lot more interesting.
There's plenty to love here and the pics show it off to its best advantage in saucy red. The grille both gapes and slices at the front of the car, the headlights appear to be crying the sharpened tears of an evil genius and the stance is lean and low to the road.
Lexus has already released pics of a slick interior with plenty of stylish chocolate and cream colours and a driver's seat with a position that's almost lying down - no doubt if this bad boy goes into production, it will be made more practical for drivers who are short of leg. But for now, we'll have to content ourselves with this visual feast before the covers come off in Detroit and the world's motoring press will get their first hands-on experience of the LF-LC and the future of Lexus design.
