The new Subaru BRZ looks good on the move, as this video proves
Here’s some much needed video action of Subaru’s new BRZ coupe-for-the-masses letting it all hang out on the track. Looks pretty good on the move.
Not much in the way of engine noise, but the bit we do hear sounds pretty pleasantly hard-edged as the tacho needle nudges the 7500rpm rev limit, and nothing in the way of smoky sideways drift shots. But, 200bhp isn’t that much when it comes to smoke machines.
Looking at the slow-mo action, the new £28,000 BRZ coupe looks like it corners with a flat balance, and that’s what this car is supposed to be about – a “reasonably priced” car that anyone can drive fast-for-fun, and with a bit of an eye on economy.
So, it looks pretty cool; if understated, needs a bigger set of wheels from the aftermarket tuning chaps, and no doubt a power- and torque-boosting turbo kit will shortly follow from the same tuning types. Coupe game on!
