The Citroen DS5 gets a techno-photoshoot to produce cinemagraphs; photos that move in detail
Citroen’s new flagship car, the DS5, has been revealed to the British public via the Citroen UK website with a series of photographs - or, more accurately, cinemagraphs. Still photography is clearly yesterday’s news as Citroen has added subtle movement to a series of pictures to showcase the DS5’s bold new design.
The pictures add little touches such as movement in a reflection or a cheeky swing of a needle on a dashboard dial to the traditional stills. Automotive photographer James Lipman took the photos and worked with TIZA Creative, a design agency to perfect the cinemagraphs.
They are the first official images of the right-hand drive version of the DS5 and they show off the interior of the manual and automatic versions. The flagship premium executive car is due to be launched in early 2012. Stay tuned for prices and UK specifications closer to the order books opening.
