The fresh 'n' funky SEAT Ibiza. Now's the time to get your seat in a SEAT...
In these troubled economic times, we’re all on the lookout for good deals. Spanish automaker SEAT has decided to step in by reviving its unsurprisingly popular “Pay No VAT” campaign (is it just us who can hear the “Only Fools and Horses” theme tune?).
SEAT’s latest offer covers two of the brand’s most popular models, the Ibiza five-door 1.4-litre SE Copa supermini and the Leon 1.6-litre TDI S Copa family hatchback. With the 20% tax bill paid by SEAT, the Ibiza will cost £10,699, a saving of £2,105 and the Leon will cost £14,909, saving £2,970. The offer is only available to retail customers and the offer lasts until December 31.
The Ibiza, with a full price of £12,805 comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, climate control, rain-sensing wipers (perfect for this time of year), auto-headlights, front fog lights with a helpful cornering function, cruise control, front electric windows and an MP3-compatible CD player.
Meanwhile, the Leon, which usually retails for £17,880 comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, Bluetooth, front fog lights again with the handy cornering function, cruise control, MP3-compatible CD player, traction control and a stop-start function with energy recovery.
SEAT is offering some other discounts on other models with up to £1,500 off the Ibiza Cupra and Ibiza Cupra Bocanegra hot hatches, up to £1,750 off the Ibiza five-door and Ibiza ST models, some Leons, all Altea and Altea XL variants and the Exeo and Exeo ST “Tech” models are currently £2,000 cheaper.
