Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige

The new Citroen DS3 Ultra Prestige will be on show at the Frankfurt Motor Show with tons of customisation options - including groovy roof designs - and extra soft interior comfort

Citroen’s Frankfurt Motor Show stand is going to have a strong focus on design and green technology as well as being a chance to show off some cool kit.

For the first time, the complete DS line will be on show in Europe. The DS5 will be on hand to show off hybrid-diesel technology as well as its eye-catching design. It is the first Citroen with a full hybrid diesel powertrain. It pumps out 200bhp, has four-wheel drive capability, emission-free electric driving for stopping and starting in the city and an acceleration boost for open road driving.

The DS4, with almost 15,000 orders already taken, will be there hoping to attract even more interest and the baby of the range, the DS3 will be there in its new Ultra Prestige incarnation. This glam version of the hatch has cool touches such as 17-inch charcoal-grey, diamond-effect wheels, a roof insignia that changes from matt to gloss in the light, the option of a “Flower” roof design, a slick club leather interior and new body colours, such as the Hickory Brown and Fushchia Pink, which can be ordered for the roof, wing mirrors, wheels, dashboard fascia and gear knob.

Motorsports fans will be able to get up close to a DS3 WRC, as seen doing pretty darn well under the guidance of Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena in this year’s World Rally Championship.

A C3 will be on hand to show off Citroen’s e-HDi micro-hybrid technology with CO2 emissions of just 87g/km. And for those who like to push buttons and generally be futuristic, visitors to the Citroen stand will be able to play with Citroen eTouch, a system that automatically calls for help in the event of an accident, allows drivers to manually seek assistance whenever they need it and sends a message to the call centre to give a precise location.

Also, the MyCITROEN function is there so you can keep track of the car’s performance and maintenance needs - no excuse now for going 1,000 miles overdue on your next service.
