BMW M3 pick-up

The new BMW M3 pick-up with 450kg hauling capacity. Builders never had it so good!

Here are some pics of BMW’s latest M3-babe, and it’s a pick-up. All the M3 power, handling and performance is there, but now she can haul, too. The ultimate ute? They’d be fools not to build it!

You can’t beat a super-ute. Take a high-performance sexy-saloon, cut the back off, lighten the rear end, and hey presto; you’ve got yourself a handsome hauler and – thanks to less weight over the driven rear axle – an drift-easy weapon. Just like BMW’s new M3 pick-up. How good does this car look?

Built at the BMW M GmbH development centre, where clearly anything goes, BMW are touting the new pick-up as the forth body variant of their mighty 4-litre, V8 M3. I guess it makes sense to offer the hardcore-3 in as many body styles as possible; got to keep those punters happy.

This ‘unique’ M3 has apparently already completed extensive testing and set-up drives on the infamous Nürburgring’s Nordschleife, in advance of its global unveiling on 1st April, 2011.
That's today!

No doubt she’ll be M3-quick and particularly precise through the corners, and with a load-hauling capacity of 450kg, builders all over the UK will be dreaming of driving to the site in this back-chopped bad-boy; copy of the Sun on the carbon-encrusted dash and tins of paint no doubt departing the load-bed at 150mph. And with transport like this, you never know; they may even finish a job on time!

Sadly, however, it sounds like the M3 ute may well be just a one-off. We think it looks so good it'd be a crime against lagging loft conversions everywhere not to build it. But, if they don’t, fear not; there’s always the 535bhp, supercharged V8, LupiniPower Chevrolet SuperUte to fill the mega-pick-up void. If you’re man enough, that is…

Holy hauling, Batman! It’s BMW’s new M3 super-ute

The 535bhp, supercharged V8, LupiniPower Chevrolet SuperUte. Hardcore-haulin', just in case BMW don't built the M3 pick-up!
