VW Tiguan at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Not radically different from the outgoing car, but the Europeans love 'em, so what's there to terrifically change?

The new, facelifted VW Tiguan is probably set for a rather warm reception in mainland Europe - especially in Germany where it’s the most popular SUV in town; to the point where the outgoing car has actually sold out with VW bringing deliveries of the new car forward.

So, to not overly fix what clearly wasn’t broken, VW has simply sharpened the Tiguan in-line with their current design language that features bold bodyline strokes for a more purposeful look. It's looking super-clean on VW's 2011 Geneva Motor Show stand.

The new Tiguan benefits from new angular headlights and bumper styles and a defined, simplistic grille. While most Tiguans live their lives on the tarmac, VW are offering this SUV with extra off-road modifications, should you want to plug the mud.
