Kia Rio at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Not on sale until 2012 but with a fresh face and new frugal engines the Rio seems to stack up
More of the fresh ‘n’ funky from Kia with their new Rio, making its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, along with all the other new Kia models.
Note the front-end grille style, shared with the Picanto, and the heavily swept-back headlights – Kia’s take on how a modern Fiesta-size car should look.
Slightly longer than the old Rio, by 70mm, giving passengers a little more interior room for movement, but it’s the wide choice of new and efficient engines that are most likely to make economy-conscious motorists take the most notice when the Rio goes on sale in early 2012.
