The new Peugeot 308 - coming in May and gunning for the new Ford Focus
Peugeot has announced that it will be launching its long-awaited updated 308 in May, giving the popular offering a brand new look.
The new car will be available as a Hatchback, CC and SW, as well as providing no fewer than four multi-model trim levels: Access, SR, Active and Allure.
It will also be styled with a few elements already seen on the Peugeot 508 and SR1 Concept Car, including the latest LED headlamps and running lights, which give the car a modernised look.
The marque added: "All the dynamic and emotional strengths of the original Peugeot 308 have been retained and strengthened further with the introduction of more efficient engines and Peugeot's innovative micro-hybrid e-HDi Stop & Start technology."
Last week, Peugeot Sport unveiled their new 908 endurance racing car in Paris, a 3.7 litre V8 HDi FAP diesel-engined machine that the firm will use in this year's Le Mans 24 Hours.
