The Hyundai i10 Blue - the cheapest 5-seat car below the 100g/km CO2 barrier, at £8,195 OTR
Hyundai's best-selling city car has undergone a number of major enhancements to make it more attractive to people looking to reduce their carbon emissions.
The manufacturer has announced its i10 Blue, which delivers 99 g/km of CO2 emissions, making it road tax exempt and perfect for drivers in London, as it also avoids the congestion charge.
New 1-litre and 1.2-litre engines now come equipped with the marque's Intelligent Stop & Go technology, while the windscreen sticker price of £8,195 OTR makes the i10 Blue the cheapest 5-seater below the 100g/km CO2 barrier currently on the market.
Hyundai explained: "These key design changes are in keeping with the brand's bold and progressing design language, bringing a clear family resemblance between the new i10 and other recently launched Hyundais, including the sleek ix35 and ix20 models."
Four trim grades are available: Blue, Classic, Active and Style, encompassing elements such as paint jobs, stereos and the availability of electric features in and around the i10.
Last month, Hyundai revealed the Veloster three-door coupe for the first time at the 2011 North American International Auto Show.
