Skoda - sales on the up
Skoda will sell more cars than ever before this year. Sales have risen 12.3 per cent in the last 12 months and 702,400 vehicles have been sold in the eleven months of 2010.
The marque has already exceeded the previous year's total of 684,200 and has also broken the threshold of 700,000 delivered vehicles for the first time, it confirmed. It has also recorded high double-digit gains in China, India and Russia.
Jurgen Stackmann, the board member for sales and marketing of Skoda Auto, was extremely proud of the progress and said the brand is taking every chance to grow at a double-digit rate.
He continued: "With the strong growth in November, we're on track to achieve our sales forecast of 750,000 sold vehicles this year. That is a more than solid basis for our ambitious growth objectives for the coming years."
Last month, over 30,000 What Car? readers voted Skoda the best manufacturer of 2010, further boosting the company's reputation
