Some interesting reading from a new survey carried out by Fleet News, a publication that covers the UK contract hire and leasing industry.
The BMW 3 Series is the most reliable company car in the UK according to a survey of the country's 50 largest contract hire companies, while Honda has the best overall reliability record as a car manufacturer. Good news for BMW and Honda owners, then.
But, fear not, there's a good mix of other manufacturers appearing in reliability top 10, so read on and see how the car on your drive compares in the magazine's annual survey that asks companies to nominate the most reliable cars on their fleets.
To be on the safe side, the research included 1.5 million vehicles owned or managed by the top 50 leasing companies in the UK. Fleet News editor Stephen Briers said: "This is the largest reliability survey of its kind, so any vehicle with a top 10 placing will represent a safe bet for any organisation or private motorist."
