The new Ford Ranger gets totally modern styling
The all-new Ford Ranger has made its global debut at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, another of Ford's new models available worldwide.
Ford asserts that the updated model builds on the Ranger heritage for pickup capability while also delivering a spacious and comfortable interior filled with new features as standard.
Stephen Odell, the chairman and chief executive officer of Ford of Europe, said: "The new Ranger is an exciting and dynamic vehicle that will undoubtedly raise the bar in the pickup market.
"The scope of its capability and technology are further evidence of how powerful the One Ford initiative is in helping us globally to develop a whole range of all-new class-leading vehicles."
Technologies and features included on the offering are a rear-view camera system, trailer sway control and adaptive load control. It is also available in three different cab body styles, two separate drivetrains, four series choices and two ride heights.
This week, Ford announced that it would be releasing 100 special edition Transit SportVan models in distinctive red livery.
