Land Rover UK has recorded its best ever month of sales, as they went up by 67 per cent in March 2010 when compared to the same month last year.
The manufacturer sold 11,300 vehicles and recorded the highest sales for any month in the company's 62-year history.
March is the seventh month in a row of improvement for Land Rover, perhaps suggesting that the marketplace is becoming more stable.
In addition, Land Rover's global retail sales rose in March by more than 43 per cent.
"The sales increase is mainly owed to the phenomenal response received from customers and media to the award-winning 2010 model year Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 4 and Freelander 2," commented Phil Popham, managing director at the manufacturer.
Land Rover recently showed off its new range of vehicles at the Boat and Caravan Show held at the NEC in Birmingham, along with some of its towing technology.
