Winter blues lifted by Vauxhall

Vauxhall's MasterFit retailers all set to offer a comprehensive 'Winter Safety Check and Top Up' now available at participating locations around the country.

This check will cover all safety-critical components, including electrics and lights, brakes, hubs, wheels and tyres.

It will also include an internal and external vehicle inspection, with checks on the underside and under-bonnet.

Fluid levels will then be monitored, with top ups of engine oil, brake fluid, coolant and screenwash also covered.

'WinterCheck', as the safety package will come to be known, is priced at £35.

This charge will also provide the buyer with a Winter Car Care kit, which contains a Sonax window de-icer, a bottle of antifreeze and clearview concentrate, an ice scraper and a chamois pad.

No appointment is necessary to take advantage of this offer. Simply drive to your nearest Vauxhall MasterFit Retailer and have your car inspected while you wait.

Any additional work identified during the Winter Check will be itemised and the costs of rectification fully quoted. The offer runs right through until March 2009.
