Honda will be unleashing the new Jazz supermini in the UK this autumn, offering more interior space and good fuel economy to those looking to downsize.

The Jazz has managed to win more than 30 industry awards, making it one of the most celebrated car models ever.

This year's follow-up aims to build on its predecessor's success, with a design Honda hopes will appeal to a broader audience.

A new Double Trunk boot feature in the luggage bay can be configured in four ways to accommodate different-sized loads.

Total luggage space in the 1.4 models, when equipped with Double Trunk, now measures a substantial 399 litres.

Under the bonnet, the 90 PS 1.2-litre and 100 PS 1.4-litre engines deliver lively performance with exceptional economy.

With the i-SHIFT automated manual transmission installed, the Jazz achieves 54.3 mpg, with some models recording an incredible 120 g/km of CO2.

The new Jazz will benefit from Honda's ACE body structure, something that is being rolled out across all the company's vehicle ranges.

A front polygonal main frame helps to prevent misalignment between vehicles of different sizes and construction and multiple energy absorbing pathways disperse impact energy to prevent cabin deformation.

Dual front and side airbags are standard on all models, as are full length side curtain airbags and three-point seatbelts in all five seating positions.
