New flagship Lacetti available

Chevrolet has revealed a new addition to the Lacetti line-up, the Sport, which aims to bring better performance, style and value for money to the range.

The Lacetti Sport, based on the five-door version of Chevrolet's mid-sized hatchback, boasts a smart factory-fitted body styling kit. It comes with body coloured trim, stylish 15-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension and integrated front fog lamps.

Focusing on the interior, new owners would find full leather seat trim, finished in smart charcoal grey, while a leather-covered steering wheel and gear knob, plus metallic-effect inserts on the doors and facia make the sporty appeal more pronounced.

Equipment includes air conditioning, a cooled glove box, four electric windows, electrically adjustable mirrors and a six-speaker Blaupunkt CD/Radio with steering wheel-mounted controls.

Power comes from a 1.8-litre 121 PS petrol engine, giving the Sport the ability to go from 0-62mph in 9.8 seconds, with a top speed of 121mph.

The Lacetti Sport does 47.8 miles per gallon on the extra-urban cycle, 38.1 mpg combined and 28.5 mpg on the urban cycle. CO2 emissions are 183 g/km.

Prospective buyers can pick up a Lacetti Sport from Chevrolet retailers now, where it joins the newly launched Aveo supermini and Epica family saloon. Prices start at £12,495 OTR.
