Honda introduce a new range of car finance options for new customers

Customers looking to purchase a Honda Civic are to be offered a raft of new finance deals, it was announced today.

Any five-door model in the Civic range will be available at a new rate of 5.9 per cent APR. The 1.4-litre DSI SE costs £149 per month, with a fully loaded Civic 2.2 i-CTDi Ex with glass roof, leather upholstery, sat nav, cruise control and dual zone climate control will be available from £285 per month.

The Civic's brother model - the Type R GT, with air con, auto lights/wipers and fog lamps - is available for £255 per month, at 7.9 per cent APR.

Alternatively, customers could choose a Honda CR-V SUV. The 2.0-litre SE Manual can be had for £205 per month (5.9 per cent APR), while a diesel model, such as the 2.2-litre i-CTDi SE, is priced from £210 per month.

Another new deal involves the latest Honda Jazz, which is affected by a 50:50 incentive. Essentially, the customer pays 50 per cent of the full list price at the time of purchase to secure an 08 reg Honda Jazz.

After paying £5 per month for 11 months, they have the option to make the second 50 per cent payment or upgrade to another new Honda Jazz, like the all-new model, set to be launched later this year.

The Honda Jazz has led the JD Power survey supermini sector for four consecutive years, and continues to consistently win awards five years into its model life. It topped the Which? reliability tables in 2007, and has an unbeaten five "top five" category finishes in the Auto Express driver power survey. In 2006 Jazz was awarded Best Supermini at Fleet News Awards, demonstrating its versatility across retail and corporate sectors.
