Volvo's C70 has been upgraded with a number of new features. Foremost among them are new RTI navigation and keyless drive systems.

The new technologies, worth £2,200, are available at no extra cost from April 2008.

The RTI navigation system maps a number of routes throughout the UK and Europe, featuring RDS-based traffic management control. This identifies any traffic incidents en route and, if possible, divining an alternative way of proceeding.

The keyless drive system makes it possible to lock, unlock and start the car without the need for a key, which can be left safely stored away by the driver.

The C70 range will still offer the same choice of features as it did before the upgrade - two turbo diesel engines (four-cylinder 2.0D and a 2.4-litre D5), a 2.4i petrol engine and a turbocharged 230PS T5.

Prices for the C70 start from £25,750 for the 2.4i S model, which also features electronic climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control and Volvo's high performance audio system.
