Alfa Romeo announce new Mi.To range
Alfa Romeo have released details of their new Mi.To range. The curious title is a homage to the company's past, the design stage in Milan and future production in Turin.
The Mi.To is the first new Alfa Romeo to be built since the 8C Competizione, from which it borrows certain characteristic traits, including the shape of the frameless side windows, a distinctive frontal treatment, shape of the headlights and the LED tail lights.
Unique to the new range is the ability to create an 'eye-liner' effect underscoring the front and rear lighting surrounds.
Top quality materials and a close attention to detail feature prominently in the interior design.
A driver-operated system allows the for three different vehicle behaviour modes, dependant on the driving style best suited to the current environment: sporting, town driving and all-weather.
Petrol and diesel models are available, spanning 90 to 155bhp. More powerful cars will be produced in the future. Contractive suspension, passive and preventive safety, Alfa Romeo's specially developed VDC stability system and a vehicle structure designed to Euro crash safety standards are all features included as standard.
The Mi.To will gradually be introduced from July in all major markets, with the UK receiving models early next year.
