Kia has revealed it will release three versions of its upcoming Soul model at the Geneva Motor Show.
The South Korean manufacturer hopes the new mini-MPV will allow future customers to enhance the levels of customisation and personalisation when purchasing the vehicle - with each different to the last.
The company claims the new model represents a whole new individual and fun direction for the Korean brand - with the Soul outside of the usual motor industry brackets - hopefully encouraging a whole new breed of Kia customers to build an emotional bond with their new car and with the brand.
Its boxy-shape is aimed refresh the brand, with the intention to appealing to savvy, young drivers who thus far have remained wary of the marque.
The Soul Burner (pictured) is the most outlandish of the concept trio which will go on display - complete with satin black finish and gloss dragon tattoos.
Soul will go into production in 2008, and is expected to hit forecourts in 2009. It has been under development for a number of years, and was initially unveiled at the International North American Auto Show in Detroit in 2006.
The vehicle was designed at Kia's design center in California. The Soul will be produced in South Korea primarily for the US market. It may also be sold in Korea and Europe.
