Arguing while driving can lead motorists on a highway to hell
Research conducted by Vodafone has revealed that more than 75 per cent of shared car trips are likely to end up in arguments and bitter recriminations.
Over three quarters of couples have stopped talking due to in-car rows over gettling lost or disagreeing about directions.
A third admit to having become lost at some point, while 61 per cent confess to having heated arguments because of in-car arguments over directions.
Vodafone's research indicates this could be because 59 per cent of drivers don't own electronic route planners.
Men will apparently wait, on average, nearly 11 minutes before asking for help when lost, while women will, surprisingly, wait longer (12 minutes, 36 seconds on average) to seek assistance.
