Daihatsu offer five-year warranty deal on all new cars

Daihatsu Motors have announced the introduction of a five-year unlimited mileage warranty on all their cars, following a successful trial on the Terios mini-SUV and Sirion five-door supermini.

The initiative proved a success on these two models when introduced in January 2008, with a 38 per cent sales increase to date.

Both the Copen sportscar and Materia mini-MPV will also now come with the warranty deal, plus five year UK roadside recovery. The offer is non-transferable and covers all retail sales.

In addition to the deal, which runs until the end of 2008 before being reviewed, the Materia will have its cost slashed by £500 until the end of June.

Paul Tunnicliffe, managing director of Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors Limited, said: "With recent fuel price increases and wider public concern about global warming, our cars have never made more sense.

"Daihatsus offer outstandingly low running costs and have an enviable reputation for reliability and approachable, friendly dealers. Now that all models enjoy a five-year warranty we can continue our steady sales growth."
