Rolls-Royce moves into Ukraine

Rolls-Royce has opened a showroom in the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

The company has been going from strength to strength in recent months, allowing it to expand into new markets.

Following the opening of a dealership in China earlier this year, the British company has now moved into eastern Europe.

"We have invested in new premises for the Rolls-Royce business so that we are fully prepared for further new models and continuous growth over the coming years," said Dr Olexander Tymofyeyev, general manager of the authorised dealer AWT Bavaria.

"We have seen strong customer interest in the Phantom Drophead Coupé already and we look forward to the start of deliveries very soon."

The new showroom was opened by Graeme Grieve, the sales and marketing director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

"The new facilities reflect the growing importance of the East European region to the continued development of Rolls-Royce," said Mr Grieve.

"AWT Bavaria is now perfectly positioned to provide a true Rolls-Royce service for our clientele in Ukraine, building on their many years of experience in the luxury car segment."

The showroom will offer the entire Rolls-Royce range; with the Drophead Coupé joining the Phantom and Phantom Extended Wheelbase.
