Seat offers seasonal safety checks to drivers

Seat drivers have been offered a seasonal safety check to ensure their vehicle makes it through the difficult conditions which are likely to characterise the next few months.

The comprehensive vehicle check is designed to prevent the cold and wet winter weather from taking its toll on cars, which annually cause misery for drivers across the country.

The check includes a 32-point visual inspection, a top-up of essential fluids including oil, screenwash and coolant, plus a full tyre, brake and battery condition check.

"This service check-up is designed to take the worry out of winter motoring by looking at all the elements of the car most likely to be put to the test during the coldest season," said Seat UK parts and service planning manager, Colin Dick.

"By acting now and having these simple checks carried out, drivers will give themselves a greater chance of enjoying a hassle- and incident-free season on the roads."

The seasonal safety check is available on all Seat models at participating Seat dealers until 31st March next year, with cars also receiving a free wash and vacuum, as well as a 1-litre bottle of oil.
