Vauxhall release Agila details
Vauxhall has revealed some details of a new version of its popular Agila model, which is set to be released in early 2008.
The compact new version of the car will be on sale from April 2008, featuring a redefined look and an entirely new chassis.
According to the British manufacturer, the car has a versatile interior, making it perfect for those always on the go, especially in an urban environment.
The Agila has five full sized seats, but is a compact shape allowing for easy navigation in cities, and the rear seating folds down completely flat (on all but the entry model) to give the Agila an overall luggage space of 1,050 litres.
There will be three main trim options when the vehicle goes on sale, along with three new engines to choose.
Petrol powered options include a one litre three-cylinder engine with 65bhp, and an 85bhp 1.2 - which will also be available with automatic transmission.
A 1.3CDTi diesel engine version, with 75bhp will also be available.
Both petrol and diesel entry-level models will boast CO2 emissions of less than 120g/km, which means they could cost as little as £35 in road tax each year.
Prices for the new model start from £7,595.
