New luxury Grand Vitara launched by Suzuki
Suzuki has launched a new luxury edition of its Grand Vitara compact SUV.
The new model, the X-EC 5-door comes equipped with a two-litre petrol or 1.9-litre diesel engine, as well a host of other trimmings.
Luxurious specifications include the unique azure grey pearl metallic paintwork, silver roof rails and 10-spoke 17 inch alloy wheels.
There is also the distinctive X-EC branding, matched with Alcantara upholstery, and keyless entry means no fumbling for keys.
The new vehicle also features cruise control as well as the cutting edge Trafficmaster's Smartnav navigation system.
When summer comes around again, there is also an electric sunroof.
These modifications come on top of the standard vehicles specifications, which include six airbags climate control, MP3-audio compatibility, reclining rear seats, steering-wheel audio controls and heated electric door mirrors.
The Smartnav congestion avoidance system allows drivers to take the easiest routes, by taking live traffic information from Trafficmaster's 7,500-strong sensor network and guiding them around jams and delays to get them from A to B in the shortest possible time.
The new engine is capable of 37.2 mpg.
