Shelby Mustang GT350S takes pride of place outside the Las Vegas Convention Centre for SEMA
You may have noticed our story on the hot modified cars commissioned by Lexus for the SEMA car show, currently on in Las Vegas.
Well, to continue this celebration of one of the biggest and coolest custom car, bike and truck shows in the world, we've got some nice and exclusive TotallyMotor pictures from a previous SEMA showing we were lucky enough to attend.
Every year some of the finest customisers, tuners and artists build incredible one-off vehicles to showcase their talents at the show, and here are some of our favourites. If you like it big, bold and brash then look no further. First up is our muscle car showcase; all that is cool (and hot!) from the wild world of custom Yank-tanks. Expect huge engines, deep paintjobs and stacks of attitude.

Kicking us off on this SEMA muscle car tour is this white-hot Chevrolet Camaro drag
racer. Built to race the ¼-mile drag strip like a bolt of lightning, pushed along by a
bonnet-busting supercharger, fat drag tyres and plenty of go-faster stickers

Next up is a real feat of engineering prowess from the original pimpers, West Coast
Customs. Basically, they cut the bodyshell from a classic 1967 Chevelle and grafted it
onto a modern 2006 Corvette C6 chassis, utilizing the high-performance modern
running gear and engine. Note also the classy Asanti 20inch rims

How about this ultra-mean Chevy Nova? I love this car. Pure understated aggression
from 'drab' paintwork, stock-looking wheels and hunkered-down stance. Rest assured
though; there is a big-bhp V8 under that hood, ready to smoke all challengers

And you thought the Nova was nasty? Take a look at this matt-black custom cruiser
that I've christened 'The Undertaker'. The bodywork is completely shaved and smoothed
with the only signs of life being the huge period bumpers and billet-block aluminium
wheels. Welcome to the very dark side of custom
