Ford Cortina

Mint, fast and pushed to the limit - this gorgeous (and tuned!) Ford Cortina was responsible for some of the smokiest burn-outs I've seen for ages. And we've got it all on video from the startline at Santa Pod

It's been a very busy week or so here at your car-fun-lovin' TotallyMotor.

We've been test-drving plenty of new cars, shooting cool pics of hot cars down at the Vauxhall Heritage Centre, and we're about to pack our bags and nip off to Shakespeare country to test drive the new Peugeot 508; the replacement for the 407.

And now the weather is getting better it's time to get some serious car show action, and what better way to start than with the power of the blue oval down at the Central Ford RS Owners Club Day, at Santa Pod.

Mega Fords new and old, including this mint classic Cortina in eye-melting ice-white. This all-action hero doesn't spend her time on axle stands getting mercilessly polished - although the owner and his family clearly know how to prepare a show car - this killer-classic was responsible for one of the juiciest, smokiest burn-outs I've seen for a while! And I've seen a few. A loud 'n' proud TotallyMotor burn-out video to follow shortly.

We were down at Santa Pod to meet some enthusiastic owners of Focus RS cars to cap-off our mission-feature to find the ultimate Focus RS. Is it the gnarly MK1 or the more refined yet eyeball-bruising MK2? Or is it the rare and wild 350bhp Focus RS500? Well, we've driven them all recently and our full report and findings will follow soon.

So, keep an eye on TotallyMotor over the next few days - if you're looking for a new car, love a bit of new car news or just dig our bespoke photographic show coverage and lairy videos - there's much motoring good stuff coming your way. Bring it on!
