Video: Monster Truck back flip!

A monster truck recently. Shot by yours truly at the SEMA custom car show in Las Vegas - this is as close as you want to get to the Annihilator!
You may or may not be a fan of monster trucks, but there's no denying the sheer brutality of these 1500bhp+ V8, err, monsters.
More of a craze in the US than it is here in the UK, where petrol prices put these uber-guzzlers out of reach of all but the most frivolous of billionaires; so we have to watch Stateside to get a fix of monster madness.
Our video-star truck is called Son-uva Digger, built and driven by Ryan Anderson, son of the multi-monster-champion Dennis Anderson; driver of the legendary Grave Digger truck.
Built on a tubular steel chassis with massive, multi-directional suspension and at least 1500bhp from race-tuned V8 engines usually found in top-end drag racing cars, these big-dollar off-road racers get regularly wrecked in the name of entertainment. But the owner / drivers just strip 'em down, straighten 'em out and let 'em rip.
So, press play, turn up the volume, and witness the first ever back flip in a monster truck, filmed at the recent Monster Jam 2011, in Las Vegas. Only in America!
