Video: first Ferrari FF crash!

The hot new Ferrari FF in some serious sideways action. It will only end in tears!
With 660bhp on tap driving mainly the rear wheels, I guess it was only a matter of time before a bit too much sideways action ended in a Ferrari FF-fender-bender. But who’d want to be the first person to ding the £230,000, still-wet-paint halo Ferrari?
Even worse when it’s a press car and you’re driving one of only a handful on the official press launch, as a motoring journalist. And I dare say the Ferrari PR peeps mentioned something about not turning off the traction control…
Step up Car Magazine's Jethro Bovingdon, step up a wheel-chewing kerb, and say hello to the F-Bomb… lots of F-Bomb!
I feel for Jethro, I really do. The guy is an accomplished driver and knows a thing or two about ringing the neck of uber-cars to inform us car-fanciers what they’re really all about. But this time – perhaps with the added distraction of having to appease the camera? – he ran out of luck with the opposite lock…
A couple of wheels were the ‘only’ damage and I expect Ferrari had some spares to keep the press cars running; after a lengthy chassis check, of course. But that’s one phone call you just don’t want to make.
Partake in his pain and share in his shudders; Jethro's Ferrari FF crash video below…
