Land Rover: Been anywhere interesting lately?
It’s probably fair to say that the Land Rover / Range Rover brands are riding high at the moment, and not just in terms of ground clearance.
The most obvious recent smash hit for Range Rover has, of course, been the Evoque, which must be on most car-lover’s wish list as some auto-cool they’d like in their dream garage. But, with prices starting at under £30K, owning your own Rangie is less of a dream for many more people than ever.
The full-size Range Rover products – Range Rover Sport and Range Rover - continue to sell well, while the Discovery 4 and Freelander 2 continue to cruise out of the dealerships.
And, while the venerable Defender is still a workhorse of choice, major redesign plans afoot – starting with the groovy DC100 concepts - look to change the most recognisable face of off-roading forever in the next couple of years.
